Leaders in Innovation
Ulendo's innovative product line is based on research conducted by our founder, Chinedum ‘Chi’ Okwudire, Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. His award-winning mechatronics lab team develops software technologies that improve the speed and quality of advanced manufacturing machines such as 3D printers and industrial robots. Professor Okwudire developed his idea to address vibration issues using software while tackling real world challenges as a senior mechanical engineering at DMG Mori. In the launch of Ulendo Technologies, Inc. as the company to commercialize his ideas, he has assembled a team of engineers experienced in controls, firmware, mechanical design and application development.

Robotics Consulting
Our software innovation can significantly impact the performance of all five types of industrial robots: Cartesian, Scara, polar, articulated, delta.
Historically, manufacturers of vibration-prone robots have utilized mechanical means (e.g., stiffening/dampening parts) to address the negative impact of machine vibration. This approach however, significantly increases the cost, weight, size and energy consumption of these machines. Ulendo VC-R, allows robot manufacturers can achieve greater speed and accuracy while simultaneously reducing weighting their machines to significantly reduce machine cost.
Ulendo now provides solutions for semi-conductor robots. Through it's partnership with the University of Michigan, Ulendo's team has demonstrated over 100 improvements in the operating speed of semiconductor manufacturing robots. Ulendo has partnered with other innovators in the additive manufacturing space to bring advance vibration compensation strategies to 6-Axis robots. Focusing on KUKA, and other ROS enabled systems Ulendo's team is working to bring dynamic compensation to varying pose, and payload robotics.
